Hanging freely from a small loop is a 9ct rose gold fairy, who is enclosed within delicately handcrafted silver branches that protect her from the influence of bad spirits. Almost all kinds of tree found in the Celtic countries have been thought to contain special powers or to serve as the dwelling of the fairies. Here, we use branches from our famous Tree of Life design to represent the intricate relationships between nature and all living creatures. Within the 9ct rose gold fairy is a touch of rare Welsh gold mined from the famous Clogau St. David's Gold Mine in Snowdonia, north Wales. The silver chain that accompanies this locket measures 18 (46cm) and is secured by a secure lobster clasp. The locket itself measures 27mm high and 30mm wide. Item's Presentation Box
